Christmas Reflections on Peace, Faith & Australia

As I write this final newsletter of 2025 I am reminded of how precious and fragile the peace, freedom, and safety of Australia is. At a time when we as a nation normally start to wind down for the year and prepare to spend time with our family and friends, we were confronted with the tragedy of the Bondi shooting. We all feel the shock, but none more than the Jewish community who, once again, faced with the ugly spectre of antisemitism have felt its fury. Like all Australians should, my heart goes out to them and, as a Christian, so too go my prayers.
